I am a doula and childbirth mentor (teacher) through Birthing From Within.  I have held certifications with  Doulas of North America and Birth Works, as well. I am also a member of the Northeastern Illinois Doula Association. I am certified in Neonatal Resuscitation. I have a bachelor’s degree in music and art ministry from Wheaton College.

I have been working with women and their partners since 2006.  In that time, I have focused my work on preparing them for this great task ahead.

I have three children of my own.  Each birth taught me something about myself, something I needed to know to parent that child.  Just as each birth I attend is a new journey, I am constantly humbled by birth. It is the greatest teacher.
